On August 20-21, 2016 I will be leading a Coaching Excellence Camp (CEC) in Cupertino, CA (San Jose area). It is the foundation piece for everything we do at Todd Team Coaching and my favorite. We don’t do this often so take advantage!
The basic design for this workshop is to reveal the unexamined behaviors that thwart our intentions. Participants have the opportunity to discover where they consistently “shoot themselves” in the foot. It is those things that are so consistently our way of being when “something’s wrong.”
This includes when we are failing or frustrated or embarrassed or just not treated to our liking. We call it “doing your thing.” And, we have no idea what we do since we can’t see ourselves perform. That’s what has coaching be essential to high performance. That second set of eyes, if you will.
Since all human beings have this way of reacting, don’t you think it would be useful for the coach/leader to have the tools to identify this for themselves and for their players? The CEC is not just a place to identify what doesn’t work.
The CEC is a place to create the future. It is a place to define who you are as a leader and what you are committed to for your journey to fulfilling that future. Think how much you could support those you coach/lead to create their own path to the future!
Obviously, I can’t give you the whole course in a few paragraphs. Besides the “magic” occurs in the participation with others. Sometimes seeing yourself in another person allows you to see yourself. Fill one of our open spots. You will never regret it.
