Adventures at CAL

Todd Team Coaching has done a lot of work at the University of California(UC), Berkeley. Women’s and Men’s Tennis, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Golf, Women’s Swimming, Softball, and Gymnastics teams have all participated in our Building A Championship Team process. In addition we have worked with all of those coaching staffs in our Coaching Excellence Camps.

In the process of coaching people, sometimes you don’t see immediate results and it is only at a later date or, maybe never, that you do. Let’s be clear, it is the athletes and coaches who produce the results.

Here are a few who have publicly acknowledged our contribution:

Ann Walker: Player, Golf , CAL Hall of Fame

Amanda Augustus: Player, Tennis, CAL Hall of Fame

Teri McKeever: Coach, Women’s Swimming, CAL Hall of Fame, NCAA Champions

Shellie Onstead: Coach, Field Hockey, CAL Hall of Fame

Diane Ninemire: Coach, Women’s Softball, CAL Hall of Fame, NCAA Champions

Nancy McDaniel: Coach, Women’s Golf, CAL Hall of Fame, PAC 10 Champions

In addition Walker and Augustus are now Head Coaches in the PAC 12 and this past year, McKeever was an Olympic Coach. All of the people I have named are everyday examples of the Building a Championship Team program in action.
